Reemo B.V. ("Reemo", "we", "us" or "our") attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and to your privacy. In this privacy policy we explain, in a transparent manner, what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we handle it, with whom we share it and what rights you have.
This policy applies to our website (reemo.nl and its associated (sub)domains), to our services in the field of software development and IT services and in the field of recruitment, staffing, selection and secondment, and to all other data processing carried out by or on behalf of Reemo.
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act and other applicable privacy legislation. For visitors and data subjects outside the European Economic Area, including residents of the United States, the provisions in section 13 additionally apply.

Reemo is not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and has not appointed one. For all questions regarding privacy and data protection, please use the contact details above.
Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Processing: any operation performed on personal data, such as collecting, recording, storing, using, sharing or deleting.
Data subject: the person to whom the personal data relates (for example a website visitor, candidate or contact person of a client).
Controller: the party that determines the purposes and means of the processing; in this case Reemo.
Processor: a party that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
Depending on your relationship with Reemo and the way you contact us, we may process the following categories of personal data:
a. Website visitor data
data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).
b. Data you provide via the contact form or by e-mail
the content of your message and any other data you voluntarily provide to us.
c. Candidate data (recruitment, selection, secondment)
any other data you share in the context of an application or placement.
d. Client and business contact data
data required to perform the agreement and for invoicing.
We do not collect more data than is necessary for the purposes for which we process it. We do not process special categories of personal data (such as data concerning health, race or religion) unless this is legally required or necessary and you have given your explicit consent.
We obtain personal data in the following ways:

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your device when you visit our website. We distinguish between:

We only place non-essential cookies (including analytical and marketing cookies) after you have given your consent via our cookie banner. You can adjust or withdraw your preferences at any time via the cookie settings on our website and via your browser settings.
Our website uses the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (CAPI) provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). These technologies enable us to:
build audiences and display relevant advertisements (including remarketing).
When the Meta Pixel is used, data such as your IP address, browser and device data, cookie identifiers and information about your actions on our website is collected and transmitted to Meta. The Meta Conversions API may additionally transmit certain data to Meta server-side (from our server); where we provide personal data such as e-mail addresses to Meta, this is done in hashed (encrypted) form.
For the joint processing of data through the Meta tools, Reemo and Meta are joint controllers within the meaning of Article 26 GDPR. Meta and Reemo have concluded a Controller Addendum for this purpose. Meta also processes the data for its own purposes as an independent controller; Meta's privacy policy applies to this.
The Meta Pixel and Conversions API are only activated after you have given your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings. More information about how Meta processes data and about your choices can be found in Meta's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy and in your ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences.
We only share your personal data when necessary and never sell your data to third parties. We may share your data with:
Processors and service providers that provide services on our behalf, such as hosting and IT providers, e-mail and CRM systems, and website analytics providers. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties.
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, in the context of our advertising campaigns and the Meta Pixel/Conversions API (see section 7).
Clients and/or candidates, insofar as necessary for our recruitment and secondment services and only with the required legal basis.
Advisers, such as accountants, lawyers and other professional service providers, where necessary.
Competent authorities, when we are legally required to do so or where necessary to protect our rights.
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as long as legally required. By way of indication, we apply the following periods:
Reemo is established in the Netherlands. Some of our partners, including Meta, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in the United States. In that case we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as:
transfers to parties certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF); and/or
the conclusion of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, supplemented where necessary with technical and organisational measures.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
Right of access: you may request which personal data we process about you.
Right to rectification: you may have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): you may request the deletion of your data.
Right to restriction: you may have the processing of your data restricted.
Right to data portability: you may receive or have your data transferred in a structured, commonly used format.
Right to object: you may object to processing based on a legitimate interest, and to the use of your data for direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent: where we process data on the basis of consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to the withdrawal.
You can submit a request via info@reemo.nl. In order to verify your identity, we may ask you for additional information. We will respond within the statutory period of no later than one month.

Our website and services are not directed at persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us so that we can delete it.
We do not make decisions with legal effects or other significant consequences for you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. This includes encryption, access restrictions and secure storage. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we act in accordance with our legal obligations.
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time, for example in response to changes in legislation or our services. The most recent version is always available on our website. At the top of this policy you will find the date of the last change. We advise you to consult this policy regularly.
